The Heros Of Our Nation

In today's world, the term hero is sometimes thrown around loosely. Super heros like Spiderman, Ironman or Thor. Sports heros in football, basketball or soccer.

But our true heros are the men and women who chose to serve their country and sacrifice everything to uphold our constitution and ensure freedom and democracy in the United States.

"To be a veteran one must know and determine his price for freedom." A quote that brings home the reality of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Along with our true heros, we also must recognize their families and the sacrifices made by them. Holidays, birthday parties, graduations and proms without their loved ones. Those families stood by their men and women, knowing their service was invaluable.

This Veteran's Day, take a moment and say thank you, whether silently or out loud, to the men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. You have our respect, honor and gratitude.
