Celebrating 10 Years of Community & Friends

When Effie Wilson and Earl Simpson settled in Jackson Hole in the 1930s, golf was undoubtedly the last thing on their mind when they began ranching the land that in approximately 75 years would become 3 Creek Ranch Golf Club.  Those who lived on the property throughout the years recognized the incredible beauty, wildlife and fishing habitat around them and did their best to protect and preserve these attributes for future generations.

In 2003 when Rees Jones first looked at the landscape he would mold into 3 Creek, he immediately recognized this tract of land would need to be treated with incredible care and respect.  Working his magic, he turned the landscape into a piece of artwork, framed by the spectacular beauty of the Teton and Gros Ventre Ranges.

This summer 3 Creek will celebrate its 10th anniversary on August 15th.  Over the past 10 years the Club has grown as a community, as a facility and expanded its sustainable practices to preserve and protect our beautiful valley.  With over 200 members, it is quickly approaching its goal of becoming the only member-owned club in the valley.

Today, the Club in addition to golf and tennis, offers its members a state-of-the-art fitness center and pool, a Nordic track and the only private ski-in ski-out club at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, located across from the Aerial Tram.   The summer long Camp 3 Creek for kids along with a wide variety of outdoor, cultural and educational opportunities provides the members with endless activities throughout the year.

Members consistently say their Club is a community of friends and family, and that some of their closest friendships have been created at 3 Creek. It is also a community that understands the importance of supporting the organizations that provide programming, educational opportunities and so much more to Jackson Hole.

This year the Club will host the 3rd annual Rees Jones Invitational Tournament on August 23rd and 24th benefitting the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.  Over the last two years, 3 Creek has raised over $75,000 for the Foundation and this year has announced its commitment of $50,000 for 2015.
